The Vatican Museums are closed on Sundays, except the last Sunday of the month (unless it’s Easter Sunday, June 29, or December 25/26), and closed on Wednesday mornings for the Papal Audience.

The order of the sights visited may vary according to local conditions and opening hours. Lunch, admission fees, and guides are not included. Tickets can be purchased online (check with us for a time slot) or through a ticket consolidator; they are not guaranteed until purchased.

Comfortable walking shoes are suggested for this tour. Please dress respectfully when visiting the religious monuments; local customs require that knees and shoulders are completely covered while inside the Museum. A guide while in Rome for 6 hours is suggested to groups over 14 passengers. We also highly suggest keeping larger groups to a maximum of 30 people per bus. ***Please note that for safety reasons the Coliseum can accommodate up to 3.000 people at once. This could lead to delays in access to the site, even for pre-booked visitors Currently on the visit of the Colosseum; security measures have been tightened meaning that visitors could experience delays of up to 1 hour and 30 minutes in the line to go in. This also means that you may have to skip some of the other sights listed on our itinerary. At this time, we suggest visiting from the outside for photograph opportunities.

IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT THE VATICAN/COLOSSEUM TICKETS:

Please be aware that tickets are guaranteed only when booked.

Booking tickets this year has become almost impossible and we’re struggling to find slots available.

The Vatican opens availability 2 months ahead the selected date and the Colosseum opens availability one month ahead. We will do our very best to get the admission tickets for you but if by this time we are not able to secure tickets, then those are not guaranteed.

We will have to relay to other suppliers, but it’s not guaranteed.

You will be notified in case of lack of availability and offered an alternative solution for you to still have a wonderful experience during your visit; for example, at the Colosseum, you may decide to only see the Roman Forum which is another good attraction and instead of the Vatican we can take you to see other beautiful churches in Rome.

You are of course free to decide how to move forward with your tour.

This may cause some inconveniences, but we wanted to inform you in advance and be transparent with our customers regarding this whole situation.
